“It’s all fun and games until someone loses a nut”
I am about 5’3, 115 pounds, and am the only one in my family without glasses.
My family includes my mom, my dad, sister, dogs, cats, rats, and me. My mom’s name is Vonnie, my dad’s name is Forrest, and my sister’s name is Julia. My dogs’ names are Rueben, Bubba, Minnie, and Truffles. My cats’ names are Calvin and Midsy. My rats’ names are Cassie and Bender.

My mom is probably one of the sweetest people in the entire world. My dad is a trauma surgeon at UVA hospital and is one of the funniest, smartest people I know. My sister is everything to me. She is very supportive of me and I love her a lot. My family is important to me because without them, not only would I not be here, but I also would not have been as successful in life as I am now. I love them and they are my life.

Some of my favorite activities include dancing, racing R/C cars, fishing, drawing, driving go-carts, listening to music, typing, playing with my pets, hanging out with friends, soccer, baseball, basketball, video games, and photography. I also love rats and ferrets. My rats are brother and sister. They are the cutest things in the world and I love them so much. Something else I have to talk about is fishing, I can proudly say that I am addicted to it. The largest fish I have caught is a Blue Marlin that weighed over 750 pounds. Personally, my favorite fish to catch is Red Drum. They are very hard fighters and it can take about a minute or two to reel them in.

Some of the important moments in my life include my love for cars which all the credit goes to my mom for telling me how to count all the nice cars on the road when I was about two. Another moment was when I caught my first fish with my dad. I also remember when my grandfather died. I have had many of people and pets I was close to that have died during my life. I also think it does not help with me coping with the stress I already have in my life. Another big memory is when I had my first trip to the emergency room at the University of Virginia Hospital, when a chain link fence went in my hand. Another learning experience was when I went to my first camp, which I stayed at for two weeks.
In conclusion, I think that life is going pretty well so far, and that I couldn’t ask for a better set of all the people in my life. This is why I am who I am!!!!!!!!

I love you so much, sweetie. This is a nice introduction to you and what is so fun about you! You said such nice things about all of us. We miss you a lot. You have already been there 10 days, and I think you are down in Florida right now. I hope you are having a fabulous time! I put money in your account so you can make your expense sheet. I am so proud of you, and though I wish we were going to be together on your birthday, I will be thinking of you with so much love. Keep up the great work! Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're going to be 14!! You have grown up into such a fine young man, Will. It seems like only yesterday you were riding your little bike to the park on Rose Hill Drive!
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your blog post -- I hope to read more as your journey continues.
Love,
Anita

ReplyDeleteYOU are one of the smartest, funniest people I know. Have you had had a chance to try out the new fly rod yet? Since you left I have not yet started tying the hare's ears and wooly buggers to send to you yet, but will start soon. Have you tried any of those salt water flies you got for christmas? oops - just realized that you will need more packets of leader and tippet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well, and I look forward to hearing about your adventures, and CANNOT wait to see your underwater photos.

Hey Will,
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!!! I could not think of a sweeter place to celebrate my birthday than the Keyes. I am sure you are tearing up the new rod and lures. Have fun and hope you catch a big 'un. I was going to attach a picture of the Tarpon I caught there, but this site won't let me. So, take pictures and we will share our fish stories and pictures when we next meet.
I am looking forward to catching a bluefin tuna off the Virginia coast this weekend - apparently they are chasing the same bait as Stripers right off the beach. It would be so COOL to catch a 200 pounder - yeah - I am psyched. Dude, I am happy that YOU are in the Keyes on your 14th!!!!!
